Due to this, the external forces, including air or pressure may cause fatigue to steels that do not have good resistance to fatigue as well as and shock resistance. Forging of the en19 black bar is conducted by first pre-heating the alloy to a temperature range of 850°C – 1200°C, while annealing is performed on the alloy by slowly heat treating it between a temperature of 680°C – 700°C, followed by cooling in air. Heat treatment temperatures for the welding rod for en19, including the rate of heating, along with the rate of cooling and soaking times will vary. The variation noted in the heat treatment is due to several factors. To exemplify, the shape and size of each steel component such as the en19 square bar or the en19 hollow bar would differ from each other. Over and above this, considerations during the heat treatment process of the en19 flat bar also include the kind of furnace used, in addition to the quenching medium and transfer facilities for the workpiece.
